Hi! I want my laptop to turn on when the ac charger is plugged in, I see that other laptops have this feature in this bios, however I do not see it in my laptop's bios. My laptop battery is dead so I want to make my laptop as sort of a stationary pc and it is not convenient for me to have to open my laptop everytime I want it turned on. Please help, thank you.

Hi @indonesianman ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Unfortunately, the ability to turn on a laptop automatically when the AC adapter is plugged in is not a feature that's commonly available in most consumer laptops, including the HP Pavilion Gaming series.
Please try the below steps:
Disable Sleep Mode: Set your laptop's power settings so that it doesn't go to sleep when the lid is closed or when inactive for a certain period. This will keep it running when connected to the AC adapter.
Set Power Button Function: In Windows 10, you can configure what happens when you press the power button. You can set it to "Do Nothing" when pressed. Here's how to do it:
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options.
- Click on "Choose what the power buttons do" on the left side.
- Under "When I press the power button," select "Do Nothing" for both "On battery" and "Plugged in".
Keep Laptop Open: Since you mentioned you want to use your laptop as a stationary PC, you can simply keep the lid open all the time, ensuring it doesn't go into sleep mode.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
