OMEN by HP 15-dc0000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My windows recently has been having problems with my audio drivers so I decided to check on the Bang & Olufsen app or better know as hp audio control and it's now not showing the controls or won't start up the audio equalizers for the speakers or the OMEN 800 headphones that has DTS X headphones enable inside.

I decide to uninstall the drivers and download them again but on the webpage of hp then I start from the first release driver and continuing up until the last driver name sp98141 says that the OS is not supported and then I can't continue with that last step.

I check windows update and it downloads the DTS drivers and all that stuff but it makes the app work only for the speakers and not the headphones all my sounds are like super flat without punch or anything. Is there any solution or I have to wait till hp release an audio driver that updates?

1. I have tried to stop windows making the updates and it shows the error on the app Hp audio control cant start RPC server.

2 Let windows install the Realtek audio drivers by itself but I lose the DTS and the Hp audio control app.

3. install all and then using the next driver that makes the uninstall to make everything work for 5 minutes then I run out of drivers and windows loos connection to the speakers and headphones.

@Diego_OMEN

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like Audio/Sound software is completely corrupted reinstalling windows operating system will fix this Audio issue.

The last thing I can suggest trying to restore the computer back to the factory settings. Performing an HP system recovery (Windows ) While doing the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.

Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows )You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
