mine is nearly 3 year old Samsung memory.

Most all the HP Omens with 7th gen cpu's have Hynix 8GB sticks of 2400 MHz DDR4 Sodimm with timings of 17-17-17-39 1.2v.   You can upgrade up to 16 GB on that system.

You can use Speccy or HWInfo to look up what you have specifically, just to make sure, becuase you want to match the timings of the one stick installed already.

The part numbers above are for the HP ram you can order directly from the HP Parts store but its extremly pricey.
