OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I am getting GPU (GTX 1060 6GB) temperatures of around 90 degrees C while playing graphics-intensive games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Origins, etc. The CPU temperature remains around 70 degrees C.  I am worried as this is quite close to the max. GPU temperature limits (94 degrees C) according to the manufacturer's website. Is this normal?

Any help regarding this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay

All Omen machines run hot, over 95°C  is normal. Machine will shut itself down when too hot. But the normal rule is it can't run that hot for 4hrs everyday. It won't live long.

There are few things can cool it down a bit Some people say can down up to 10°C.
