Would like to know whether the display is directly connected to iGPU directly or to the GTX1050.

HP doesnt divulge schematics if that's what you are asking. But the laptop will have Nvidia Optimus and will auto switch from the iGPU to the dedicated card as needed for performance vs power draw.
