thank you,

it's sunday here today, so ill contact hp support tomorrow and hear what they'll have to say.

can i open my laptop and disassemble/check it myself? or does that void warranty, i still have till may 2023.

if what you suggested that that display cable is just not seated correctly the it saved the time and trouble. (can you tell me the way to do that?)

Hello @Chibiske06

Please make use of the warranty ! This should only be done by a HP technician !

Kind regards

Hello @Chibiske06

In the simplest case, the internal display cable behind the screen is no longer seated correctly. It has come loose slightly.

Recommendation and solution

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [Always recommended] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- [Always recommended] The function of the fan(s) must be checked

The internal display cable that goes from motherboard to screen has to be checked or replaced

The screen has to checked or replaced

- Short circuit test

- General cleaning ...

HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support for service repair

HP warranty expired:

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

Good luck

I got my laptop today from HP Service Center near me. And they told me that it is indeed a Display Issue (hardware).

The service is fast, they told me they only sent the request the other day and boom, display 2-1 days later. Thanks.
