Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I cannot enable TPM on my Hp Pavilion Gaming 15. I set the TPM status in BIOS to enabled, but every time I restart it goes disabled. Windows Device Manager shows the AMD PSP 10.0 device. I have the latest BIOS version and all system updates. I tried to uninstall AMD PSP driver, but it didnt help.

Hi@michal07,

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

I suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://hp.care/2MznadV

Also, clear the TPM cache

  1. Open the TPM MMC  by typing tpm.msc in the service box

  2. If the User Account Control dialogue box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Yes.

  3. Under Actions, click Clear TPM.

  4. You will be prompted to restart the computer. During the restart, you might be prompted by the UEFI to press a button to confirm that you wish to clear the TPM.

  5. After the PC restarts, your TPM will be automatically prepared for use by Windows 10.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Followed the steps but the tpm.msc still says "Compatible TPM cannot be found on the computer"

Hi@michal07,

`We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.

I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
