Hi @Abdullahaac,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2052ax fans are spinning slower, it might be due to software or hardware factors. Here are some steps to try:

1. Check Performance Settings

  • Go to the Windows Settings > System > Power & sleep > Additional power settings.
  • Make sure you’re on the High Performance or Balanced power plan, as a power-saving plan can limit fan speed and CPU performance.

2. Clean the Fans

  • Dust and debris can slow down fans. Use compressed air to carefully blow out any dust from the fan vents. Ensure the laptop is off and unplugged when doing this.

3. Update BIOS and Drivers

  • Outdated BIOS or fan control drivers can affect fan performance. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest BIOS update and system drivers for your model.

4. Monitor Temperature and Fan Speed

  • Use software like HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner to check if the fans are actually running slower or if it's a temperature-related issue. High temperatures with low fan speeds may indicate an issue.

5. Check Fan Settings in BIOS

  • Restart your laptop and press the F10 key to enter BIOS. Look for any settings related to fan speed or temperature control and ensure they're set to Automatic or Performance Mode if available.

6. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Shut down your laptop, disconnect it from power, and hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain residual power. Then, restart it and check if the fans return to normal speed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
