Example : gaming pavilion cx0141tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently got my battery replaced from an authorised hp service centre. The original battery was a 3 cell, 11.5v battery. But they installed a 4 cell, 15.5v battery. Is it safe to use, or will it fry my laptop components?

Thanks in advance.

@KidGuru

Its specs

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06062611

It uses  3-cell, 52.5 Wh Li-ion polymer battery part # L08855-856.  You can order from

or use part # to search for it online. I saw it on Newegg with its price is around $45. HP won't allow me to post the link, please use Google to search yourself.

Regards.

Will using high voltage battery cause internal parts failure? Like motherboard damage?
