Hp omen 15 (2020) stuck heatsink and 1,3 spring screws are stuck

I use my hp omen 15 laptop for gaming and recently it started getting overheated and blacks out midgame and it seems to be a gpu error due to overheating and most likely dust in the heatsink so I tried replacing the gpu+cpu thermal paste and I've unscrewed all the heatsink screws except these two 1,3 screws in the picture that are stuck and appear to be unscrewed but I can't remove the heatsink because it's stuck. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there's a way to unstuck the screws and the heatsink?

Hi,

No scam, as it is a HP support agent above.

In any case, have you used a little force with a plastic tool, as most likely the cooling paste will be acting as a glue between the heatsink and the Chip right at the point you are indicating? You should be able to tell if the screws are still connected this way.

Can you also provide the exact model number?

Thank you David for letting me know that the person above wasn't a scammer and I apologize for the inconvenience however tbh it felt a bit sussy for them to send links and offer a 1 on 1 private conversation but all good now.

When it comes to the laptop's model 15-ek0001ne.

I tried using a plastic near the cpu area to see if the screws where stuck or not and it seems like the thermal paste is acting like a glue between the cpu and the heatsink just like what you said

I have the same problem with my laptop, two of the screw are hardly to unscrew. My laptop keep overheating and I'm trying to replace thermal paste but due to the unscrewable screw I can't do anything...
