My HP omen 16 laptop won't turn on.
When the charger is plugged in there is a light telling me the laptop is charging.
Holding the power button doesn't do anything, holding windows key and b with the power button doesn't do anything. Holding windows key and v with the power button doesn't do anything. Previously, when the laptop was turned on the screen would turn off and no inputs would work to turn the screen on but the movie I was watching would continue to play and the mouse button could pause/play the movie. The light at the power button would also turn off. If I had an HDMI plugged in then the screen would display on my tv but not on the laptop. It would also periodically force itself into sleep mode, turning the screen off for a few seconds and then go to the lock screen

I apologize, I forgot to update the situation on this forum. The issue has been resolved. So apparently for the omen 16 2023 version there is a design flaw in the laptop. There is a ribbon cable right next to the heat sink which causes it to become faulty. The ribbon cable at that point determines that the computer lid is permanently closed meaning the computer won't turn on because it's automatically put into sleep mode. The fix I had was to disconnect that ribbon cable from the motherboard, so now my laptop won't go to sleep when I close the lid but at least it will turn on normally again.
