Hi wawi!
I managed to downgrade the BIOS from F.24 to F.20 using HP Tool. I'm going to test it and let you know if the CMOS error will come up!!
!!!IF YOU WANT TO TRY DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
If you want to downgrade it, go to your driver page, locate BIOS, click on the "+", then "show all details", a new page will open up, there click on "version history" and download the version you want. I used the usb metod, because the simple installation via .exe gave me an error on "not enough free space on disk"
I choose F.20 because as said previously, F.21 is the version where everything started.
If you want, under "advanced settings" disable automatic updates.
Windows Settings-Info-Advanced settings-Hardware-Device installation settings.
Let me know buddy! If HP cant't help us, we're going to fix it ourself!!! 😎

Hi yeah laptop is working good I didn’t see the 502 error anymore I hope it stays that way I would not downgrade the bios to f20 because whe try do it when I click e exe file the windows screen start acting up,the aspect retio goes small and I don’t see the up pop window with the option to downgrade. But when tried downgrade the bios with f21bios it installion works flawlessly. And then to stop windows from updating the bios I go to device manager in there I go to firmware I expand it and then I right click to disable the device.
