I am getting a cmos reset 502  error while booting up my laptop, is the cmos battery will be integrated with the laptop battery or will it be seperate on the motherboard.please let me know.

Hi:

In your model the main battery maintains the CMOS and Real Time Clock (RTC) settings.

If the battery drains to 0% charge, you will get a 502 CMOS error.

You will see no part number for a CMOS/RTC battery in chapter 3.

You will find no CMOS/RTC battery removal or replacement procedure in chapters 5 & 6.

Thank you for your fast reply. The problem is not yet solved, yesterday i charged my laptop to 100 and today i started, it turned on well until the home screen and turned off automatically , and i got a warning cmos reset 502.Should i need to change my whole battery?

You may want to run the battery health check tool and see what it reports...
