I have HP pavilion gaming ryzen5 5600h and 1650 4gb win11 variant.want to upgrade ram. It has 8gb3200mhz hynix stock . Now I'm thinking to have to upgrade one more ram of 8gb . Like 8gb oem and 8gb upgraded it will be 16gb .

my question is

which ram i should buy . I hv seen lot of options now I'm confused.  Crucial . Hynix. Kingston furry.adata /single chnnl or dual channel. Cl ?

Hi:

 

There is no such thing as single or dual channel memory.

 

Single or dual channel is how the memory runs.

 

2 x 8 GB of memory would run in dual channel mode.

 

I recommend this brand and part number.

Hi thanks for your precious advice. Can u say . My laptop oem hynix 8gb 3200mhz ram is of which CL and it's 1Rx8 or 2Rx8.

so I can choose similar.

Run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below and it will tell you the specifications of the Hynix memory HP installed.

 

The Crucial memory I posted for you should work fine with the Hynix chip.
