HP Pavilion Gaming 15

I ordered a new HP Pavilion Gaming 15, but chose the wrong keyboard. Now I noticed it. How can I change that into my order. My shipment date is 22nd December, 2021 and I ordered last night.

 

I chose "Full-size, island-style, shadow black keyboard with numeric keypad" instead of "Full-size island-style backlit keyboard (Shadow black and ghost white)". Now I notice that my keyboard does not have backlight.

Welcome to the HP Community.

 

"Bummer" - backlit keyboard is not something you want to do without.

 

That said, do know that at this writing, the "time-out" on this model for the backlit keyboard is limited (30 seconds on without any input) - you cannot switch the back light to "always on". No problem if you just keep typing or are willing to click a key to re-light the keyboard... You might end up having to get an external keyboard anyway...  So, it's bad, but it's not as bad as ordering a business class computer that does have the option for always-on and then not getting the backlit keyboard.  Meh, ignore me.  I am picking at straws...

 

What to do?

You might be able to change the order.

Unfortunately, you cannot do that here.
