Hello everyone , I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15DK 0263TX with i5 9300H and 16GB RAM and 4GB VRAM of GTX 1650, I wanted to know if my laptop has a GEN 4 M.2 NVME SLOT/LANES or it has a GEN 3 M.2 NVME SLOT/LANES. Please reply me as I want to purchase a SSD Storage for my laptop. I have searched everywhere but didn't find nothing.

Hi:
Your notebook's NVMe slot is PCIe Gen 3.
While a Gen 4 SSD will work, it will only run at the max speed allowed by the Gen 3 slot, which is around 3,500 MBPS read/write.
In the future, if you want to look up the PCIe gen speed for a notebook, you can go to the applicable AMD or Intel website and look up the processor specs.
That is because notebook processors have been integral parts of the motherboard for many years now.
Intel Core i59300H Processor 8M Cache up to 4.10 GHz Product Specifications
If you look under the Expansion Options section for the processor, you will see that the connectivity is PCIe Gen 3.
