I just got the laptop and its almost perfect besides a few issues

the battery drains LIKE CRAZY. Even under light system load, like just watching videos, or browsing the web...

I get about ~1 hour 30 minutes  2 Hours TOPS. It just drops so quickly, like nothing i've ever seen before..... and a game, even a light one, forget it. 20 minutes tops. 

Troubleshooting steps / info

Checked to make sure My screen brightness is not too high
Using the integrated GPU to save power... 

I even have Battery saver ON same results.

Uninstalled ACPI drivers by going to device manager > battery > uninstall then reboot. 

Checked all drivers are up to date via HP Support Assistant
Ran Battery test on HP Support Assistant and returned result "0 OK"

 

I tried to upgrade my bios but cannot find any page for my laptop via https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/identify/noresults?q=CND9310C98&sku=5XE55AV&filter=...

 

 

I just want to love this laptop, but Its going to be hard when I can hardly get any time unplugged.
