Hi @Kevincuz,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for sharing the image. The notification confirms that the notebook is detecting an incompatible power source, and the battery is not charging while the notebook is turned on.
To help us check this further, please provide the following details:
- What is the complete model or product number of the HP OMEN? Press Fn + Esc to open HP System Information. Please do not share the serial number publicly.
- Are you using the original HP AC adapter supplied with the notebook?
- What wattage is printed on the adapter label, such as 150 W, 200 W, 230 W, or 280 W?
- When did the issue first start?
- Did it begin after a Windows update, BIOS update, hardware change, or charger replacement?
- Does the battery charge when the notebook is completely turned off or in sleep mode?
- Is the charging light near the power connector solid, blinking, or off?
- Does the adapter connector fit securely, or does charging change when the cable or connector is moved?
- If available, have you tested another compatible genuine HP adapter with the same wattage or higher?
- Does the notebook lose performance, shut down, or discharge the battery while connected during gaming?
Also, please share a clear picture of the AC adapter label showing the HP part number, output voltage, current, and wattage. Cover any serial number or personal information before posting the image.
Once we have the complete model and adapter details, we can provide the correct model-specific troubleshooting steps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
