Hello. I was told to re-post this thread, as it was marked as spam for some reason.

Ever since I've bought this laptop almost exactly a year ago from now on, it has caused me nothing but headaches. So far that I'm currently using the device without a battery, since it doesn't power up on battery at all, yet detects the battery fine. But for this thread, my issue is far more bothersome. As the title suggests, I'm reading quite incorrect temperatures readings from my CPU. Before anything, I want to point out that this issue has always occured, prior to opening the device.

On idle, my CPU temperature reads at 60C, yet, the device feels cooler than that. Alright, let's assume that 60C is normal for idle, even if it isn't. Here's the fun part now; the very exact moment I open up a stress test, as my CPU usage is maxed out, so is my temperature. No, not after minutes, not even a minute. The exact moment that I read 100% on my CPU usage, the temperature not rises but directly gets stuck to 98-99C, just one celsius below T Junction value.

Why am I so bothered by this? Aside from possible shutdowns due to incorrect temperatures, my problem is that clock speeds go below 2.5GHZ, on contrast to 3.7GHz usual maximum performance values. Again, why this bothers me is that I need the full capacity, as I'm working on stuff that requires lots of CPU power and let me tell you, that decrease effects the performance much more than what you can anticipate.

Last words; in addition, I still have an "active" warranty, if the fact that I've opened the case, upgraded the RAM and storage and removed the battery isn't an issue. If I keep having more and more issues after this one as well, I will seriously consider replacing this device whenever I can.

Thank you.
