I recently upgraded OMEN 15-EK0023dx RAM from 16GB 3200 Mhz to 32GB 3200Mhz; however, according to BIOS and HP Support Assistant...the RAM is showing 32GB at 2667. How do I get the speed to show 3200?

Hello @DERedAir
I wondered when this was going to start happening. HP has only recently raised the speed cap on their machines Memory. But HP's still use a locked down bios and I don't see anywhere in the bios sim that offers any adjustments for this still.
How did you upgrade (what ram did you purchase and were both sticks replaced)?
My guess is the bios didn't like the ram you used, so it down clocked to the default speed of 2666. This is somewhat common in HP's.
Not knowing what you installed, I'll just say that the only way I know currently to get the advertised speed guaranteed is to use HP's ram from the Parts Surfer. Page 34 in the manual gives the model numbers of those sticks... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06638089
But I also recommend using the Crucial Memory Finder. They will list compatible ram and if it does not work, they will refund you. Their warranty is why I recommend them. https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-omen-15-(model-numbers-15-ce000---15-c...
