OMEN Laptop - 17-cb1521na
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

My CPU when playing WARZONE for example is running on around 95 degrees, sometimes reaching even 98 degrees. Is it normal? Is there a way to reduce it? I'm using cooling pad but it's dropping maybe 2 degrees. I'd like not to damage my PC too quick. Thanks.

Kind regards,

Wocu

If you haven't done so already, I would start dusting/cleaning out your cooling fan(s) and air vents.  This YouTube video shows this cleaning process very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTniEcB_HkA.

If you are beyond this point, please let me know.

Hello @Wocu

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked
- General cleaning ...

If you have no technical skill to do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

It is a very expensive notebook, you might accidentally make mistakes and damage it even more.

best regards
