Hello,

Very often, when I put my computer to sleep or close a game, sometimes even by lauching a game, I get input lag on my keybord, my key presses are delayed for something like a second. This doesn't happen with my mouse or any gampad, just the keyboard. Does anyone knows what might be causing it and how to fix it ?

Welcome to HP Support Community

Please update or reinstall the Keyboard driver from Device Manager

- Select the Start  button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Look for Keyboard and expand the List
- Look for Keyboard driver then right-click it, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click the bluetooth driver and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Also update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Also ensure Filter Keys are disabled.

Go to Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Make the Keyboard easier to use > Uncheck the box Turn On Key

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

If the issue persists, please run a Keyboard Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Keyboard

Keep me posted 😊

Hello, sorry for the time I took answering, I couldn't run the test until today. The test was passed, does it means anything ?

If the keyboard test passed, then it is not a Hardware issue

At this point I suggest you perform a Reset. Please refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04742289
