there is no sound video game controller in my device manager,( it has just disappeared) so none of these options will assist

Expand the hidden option in the device manager

You can always restore your laptop to factory condition.   Sorry, I do not have a link solve the Intel's DSP problem

If you decide to restore the OS then watch after every subsequent update and if the problem returns then uninstall the update or find a restore point to restore your system to before the problem occured.
