Hi, i bought a hp pavilion gaming laptop 15 cx0xxx, and i need to knew if is compatible with intel optane ?

That series does have some models that came with Intel Optane and it does have the M.2 slot for it, so yes.

Make sure your bios is up to date first. Should be version F.16 rev A. sp93010.exe

Optane is tricky and all I can offer is to go through this and see if it helps.... https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05591811

This is the latest RST driver listed for your series...

Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver sp92854.exe

 

I have heard is said that reinstalling the OS is sometimes needed. It should be in UEFI mode.

Run the HP Support Assistant and make sure your drivers are up to date.

hey just wondering as i am in the same spot, but any luck with it? i can get it to install and all, however the optane enablement tab in rst wouldnt show up even
