Hello,

Could someone please help me how to activate intel quick sync on my hp Omen? It is intel i7 8750h with rtx 2070 gpu. In Premiere Pro i could export with software only, which is slow...i need to activate quick sync so it could use hardware acceleration. I did the activation of quick sync in my pc in bios, but hp bios does not have this option

As far as I know, you cannot enable Intel quick sync for your Intel 8750H cpu because HP laptops with a GTX1060/1070 or RTX 2060/2070 do not have switchable intel CPU graphics ability. It is disabled in bios to only run on the dedicated gpu.

There is no settings in the bios to change this. HP Bios's are about the most locked down systems you can get.

 

HP laptops with a 1050/ti do have switchable intel cpu graphics, but I have not been able to confirm if the option for enabling quick sync is still missing.
