I am trying to buy a new gaming laptop since my stupid sister broke my previous one. It was a dell Inspiron 5559 laptop. Since it’s broke, I thought I’ll use this opportunity to buy a good budget gaming laptop. Is HP Pavilion worth it? Here are it’s specs: AMD Ryzen 5 Quad core 3550H, 8GB/1TB HDD/Windows 10 Home/4GB Graphics/Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. Cost: 770$

They’re very good it terms of portability, the screen is good (although I prefer the 144hz for slightly more money instead of the 60hz), cooling is awesome- the keyboard doesn’t get uncomfortably hot, they’re optimised, but I’d recommend opting for bit higher spec level (if budget allows of course), for example the 1660, 2060 or even 3050, because the regular 1650 is generally weak. Intel I think are also better for laptops than AMDs but that’s just my opinion. I’ve got a Pavilion 15 with an i5 10300H and 1650Ti and 16GB RAM and I kinda wish I got a more powerful configuration (except for the RAM of course). I’m saying this so u don’t make my mistake, although if you’re not looking into some serious gaming the 1650/1650Ti should do the job.
Also a strange coincidence is that I had exactly the same Dell Inspiron laptop before my current.
