Hi!
I was considering the purchase of a Razer Core X and the AMD graphics card of my choice, and my laptop does have a Thunderbolt plug outlet on the side, but I wanted to clarify with some staff for good measure. Does my type of computer have external graphics compatibility?

NO. You are not understanding that USB-C is a form factor design, not a guarantee of the type of technology it outputs. The motherboard has to be wired for Thunderbolt and the Pavilions are not.
The lightning bolt you see next to the port is the symbol for HP Sleep and Charge, which means it can charge a cell phone with the laptop powered on or off.
If it were Thunderbolt, it would say so.

Hello @BCMediaPlayer
External eGPU boxes require Thunderbolt.
The Pavilion series you ask about does not have a USB-C Thunderbolt connection. Only USB type USB-C.
Im sorry.
