Omen 17-W253DX Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was wondering if there are any Bluray drives that are compatible with my laptop that I can replace the DVD drive with instead.

Yes, the series supports

   Blu-ray Disc R/RW with SuperMulti part # 729050-011

as shown on page 35 of the following manual

    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05356862.pdf

The manual also shows you how to replace it yourself. All you need to use part # to order from HP or elsewhere such as Amazon or eBay.

Regards.

Hey thanks for the help. But I looked up 729050-011 on the HP PartSurfer site and it came up with “Blu-ray R/RE DVD+/-RW SM DL non-Win” and I was wondering what the “non-Win” meant and if it would somehow cause any issues.
