Product: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb2000 (90Q63AV)

I recently purchased an HP Victus 15 with a Ryzen 5 7645HS processor and an RTX 4050 GPU.
However, I am experiencing an issue where the laptop freezes or lags on windows for 1 to 2 seconds and then resumes normal .

This has happened multiple times, despite the laptop being brand new (bought just yesterday).
I haven’t installed many programs, and there’s nothing running in the background.

I also noticed frame drops when playing a game from 2015, where the same lag or frame drop lasts for 1 to 2 seconds.

My old laptop from 2014 doesn’t have any lag issues on Windows, so how is it possible for a modern laptop to behave this way?

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
