HI

 

Just got an notebook from the OMEN by HP 15-dcxxx Notebook series.

I installed the Omen Command Center App and it is not showing me the Lighting control panel

Got no control over my keyboard color and intesity

No menu or option for lighing control. Only got the SYSTEM VITALS and NETWORK BOOST

What can be done?

Correct, its a physical limitation. Only on or off.

If its brand new and you want the other keyboard, you would have to return it for a different model.

It depends on what model you have specifically.

If you tell me the full product number, I can look it up.

Open the HP Support Assistant and find the product number.

Thank you. That model only has the "Full-size 2-zone lighting backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and NKRO".

So it wont have the option to change lighting what so ever in the Omen Command Center.

It has to have the 4 zone keyboard for that.

That is very very disapointing!!!

 

So there is nothing i can do about it?

 

No other option?

 

I find it very disturbing that there is no software for it. I mean, at least the intesity control command if not a color changing one!
