The omen command center will not display "lighting control" anymore. It used to display it next to system vitals, network booster and performance control under the omen laptop tab on the main page of the control panel.
The keyboard still lights up and turns on and off with FN key and F4.
But, the keyboard is using four different colors for the four zone lighting. Blue, white, green and red. My eyes are sensitive to the multi-colors and I prefer to use an all red or white backlight keyboard.
I don't know why the computer decided to use 4 different colors or why I can no longer change the colors of the keyboard. It just happened one day upon startup.
I have already made the following unsuccessful repair attempts:
1. Open and close the Omen command center multiple times.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Repair the omen command center in settings
4. Reset the omen command center in settings (deleted all saved information and restarted the program which required logging in with my HP ID again)
None of this worked.
My laptop has the intel i7-9750h CPU 9th generation and an NVIDIA 1660Ti, I just purchased the laptop last year as a custom build direct from HP.com, unfortunately my 1 year warranty just barely expired last month.
Please someone help me I don't want to get stuck with a goofy colored keyboard forever and its been troubling my eyes when working on the computer at night.
Thankyou for your time.

Ok, I fixed it myself.
Apparently I think HP has decided to replace the Omen command Center with "Omen Gaming Hub".
If you are someone who has experienced the same problem as I have you need to go to the Microsoft store directly and search "Omen Gaming Hub". Download the application. the first time I tried it said I already have the application, it offered to open the app and opened the omen command center instead.
If that happens don't give up. Click on the three dots next to where it says launch and click on "install on my devices". It should now download the new program.
My computer downloaded the application "omen gaming hub". After the install I opened the program and logged in with my HP account.
if you cant find it here is the official link from the HP website directing you to the Microsoft store.
https://www.omen.com/us/en/omen-gaming-hub.html
On the main screen it showed an option for "omen light studio". I clicked on it and it said downloading.... after a short while I opened "omen light studio" and from there was able to control my keyboard lighting again.
Thank God because me eyes were very unhappy with the different colors.
I use my computer for schoolwork a lot and mostly at night when I cant have the lights on with my children sleeping. I rely on the keyboard lighting entirely and appreciate switching from all white in the day to all red at night to make it easy on my eyes.
But kudos to HP for overcomplicating the whole thing. I now have to have 4 Omen Applications.
1. Omen Command Center
2. Omen Gaming Hub
3. Omen Light Studio
4. Omen audio control
I suspect this problem I encountered will occur to people whose computers have not shipped with the new "omen gaming hub" application preinstalled.
HP should send a notification to all Omen users directly on their computers about the new application and its importance to owning an Omen product.

I would like to add that I have checked the computer for updates and made sure that windows and BIOS are fully up to date.
There are no available updates "required" or "additional".
I have checked the keyboard drivers and made sure they are also up to date and that it is functioning properly in settings.
I'm still stuck with this multi-colored keyboard. I think Its using the default light up scheme it shipped with.
Blue on the left.
Green in the middle.
Red on the right.
White for WASD.
Someone help please I'm desperate to fix this.
