Good Morning,
I have a problem with Audio. There's lack of CD Format Quality. I have only two formats to choose:
16 Bit 48000hz
24 Bit 48000hz
On these both formats i have like 2-3 seconds sound delay at the start of video or any application.
Audio drivers are up to date from HP Support. I am using Omen Laptop ce0xxx with BANG&OLUFSEN audio system.
Best regards,
matisurmi

@matisurmi I suggest you try the below steps to resolve the issue:
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\xxxx\PowerSettings
- where 'xxxx' is one of keys which contains
- DriverDesc value 'Realtek High Definition Audio'.
- Note: There may be multiple ones containing PowerSettings,
- for example 'Nvidia High Definition Audio'.
- You'll find there three binary values and set them:
- ConservationIdleTime = ff ff ff ff;
- IdlePowerState = 00 00 00 00;
- PerformanceIdleTime = ff ff ff ff.
- Default values are all 00 00 00 00 which disables power settings,
- but driver overrides it with 0a 00 00 00
- which is 10 seconds (0x0a = 10) and is by default in the driver.

Thanks for your reply @Riddle_Decipher. Changing those in a registry helped with delay.
BUT
Is it possible to get CD Quality Format (44100hz 16-bit) on Realtek on my Laptop?
Best regards,
matisurmi

@matisurmi I'm glad that helped, that said, the format you need, may not work using the internal speakers as the output is not meant for advanced sounds, just the basic and I suggest making use of an external speaker to get the output of your preference, also try updating the audio drivers and the BIOS to check if that makes any difference: Click here for the updates.
I hope that answers your query,

I have access to an HP omen and another HP laptop and checked the audio outputs of each for a comparison.
They only have the two bit qualities available. No matter what driver version I installed, only the two sample rates remained.
The laptops audio does not offer the same output options as a desktop.
