I have recently bought a laptop and I'm willing to play CS:GO on it, I do play it and the biggest thing coming in between is the battery, I charge my laptop till like 97% and give it some rest, then I turn it on and run nothing else except the game but it doesn't seem to give me enough time, I hardly play like 6-7 online matches and my battery goes down to 40-30%.

Is there anyway to get the most juice out of your laptop battery? I've thought of keeping my laptop plugged in while playing but that will ruin the battery completely obviously. Other than that I was advised by people to remove the battery and run the laptop with AC power but that will obviously make my laptop more prone to consequences because I don't trust the electricity here at my place.

I don't want a gaming pc right now because of some issues and I probably guess I won't have one in future, what should I do?

suggestions are appreciated.

Regards.

Sure there is.  Connect the AC power adapter while gaming.  No. It won't ruin the battery. All you have to is make sure that you go through a charge discharge cycle once a month or so. My laptop batteries usually last me about 4-5 years. That is a bit longer than most people get out of them.

That is what I do when I game on my HP omen product loan.  There is an HP member here who designed the Voodoo PC back before it was bought by HP and integrated into the fold. We were discussing a similar issue and he does the same thing I do when gaming on a notebook.

You mean charge up the battery and use it moderately to discharge it? That's what I do all the time, if that's what you mean.
And how will it be if I keep the AC Adapter plugged in after the battery has reached to 100%? Is that safe?
Thankyou so much for helping erico.
