Subject: Laptop Keeps Restarting with Blue Update Screen – Need Help
Hello HP Community,
I have been facing an issue with my HP laptop for the past week. My laptop automatically restarts and shows a blue update screen, then reboots itself repeatedly. This happens frequently, and it's making me worried.
I'm concerned that there might be something wrong with my laptop. Has anyone else faced this issue? Is there a way to fix this or check if my laptop has a serious problem? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Surya_14
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If your HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk2000 laptop keeps restarting with a blue update screen, it could be due to a software glitch, corrupted updates, or hardware issues.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your laptop and press F8 (or the appropriate key for your system) repeatedly during startup.
Select "Safe Mode" from the Advanced Boot Options menu.
Once in Safe Mode, uninstall any recent updates or software that might be causing the issue.
Run Startup Repair:
Insert a Windows installation media (USB or DVD) and boot from it.
Select "Repair your computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Repair."
Follow the on-screen instructions to fix startup issues.
Check for Driver Issues:
Open Device Manager in Safe Mode and look for devices with a yellow exclamation mark.
Update or roll back drivers for any problematic devices.
Perform a System Restore:
Boot into Safe Mode or use installation media to access "System Restore."
Choose a restore point from before the issue started.
Update BIOS and Firmware:
Visit the HP Support page for your laptop model and download the latest BIOS and firmware updates.
Follow the instructions carefully to update your system.
Reset Windows:
If the issue persists, consider resetting Windows. Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Recovery" > "Reset this PC."
Choose whether to keep your files or remove everything.
