I'm so sorry you're going through this—losing files on a relatively new laptop is incredibly frustrating and stressful. Let's figure out how to address this issue.
If the Hard Disk Error 3F0 boot device not found is displayed on a black screen, use the following procedures to try to resolve the error.
Restore BIOS default settings
To restore the BIOS default setting, open the BIOS Setup screen.
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the f10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press f9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press f10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, and then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

I appreciate it, but I already returned the Laptop to POWER.
That claim this & than & repair want $Money$ saying I have no guarantee.
And also claim false info & other things & that the pc is ruin damage corrupt defective & claim again false info, more than saying the PC/Laptop is ruined in around 1-year.
A laptop should not burn up & burn itself in 1 year?
1: I already done this & I did already did try this, already. /Did not work.
2: I did try multi different things, for around 3 to 4 days, all I found was claims that HP sell defective laptops & that this laptop is faulty wrongly made or built!
So, I returned the Laptop to POWER.SE!
Their repair company - Repair by Reclaimit - claim I have no warranty. $Want me to pay!$ also claim the pc is broken /defective or that the drive SSD is fine, this laptop 16 has a M.2-card with Windows 11 on.
Or in other fact: M.2:Card-NVMe-NV2-SSD card, the system find the hard drive, it´s a corrupt {BIOS] update that corrupted the boot system, that HP automatic updated - Nothing a customer/used can stop.
As Power/Repair by Reclaimit - now lie, give false info & even say [Customer erased the hard drive] I haven´t touched & recorded with evidence that this is a big lie.
Anyway...
I also did try flash USB with new BIOS: It cannot boot it, or turn it back to the old BIOS :S.
Still, I do not want to lose my files, that include around 1 year’s work & more files I can point out.
Fact is fact: These files can never be replaced or re-made, understating the loose of impact this cause me is so bad even replace the computer/laptop or refund me the money, would not do anything or solve my problem.
The impact is caused by {HP} & Power for ignoring the facts.
More than very important files & books, audio, edit, videos you name it…
I did also try boot the hard drive, it cannot be found the M.2 just {Vanish} and this laptops card should only be a M:2-card & maybe? the back-up is a tiny SSD?...
"If not, the fact it just say SSD/Are wrongly put, it should say M.2:Card/SSD or {NGFF] M.2:C or M.Sata or NV2-SSD or other short name for M.2:Card like NVMe or other {eMMc-Flash-Drive} this system can´t even find one.
[ISSI's eMMC NAND Flash memory devices system] - This laptop Omen 16 cannot even find one.
Only SSD.
if there is one since if I´m right this Laptop don´t even have a SSD in it, in fact it should say M.2:CARD/NVMe, if it´s not like a safety back-up drive I don´t know about.
Still after running a full diagnosis: All I find are faulty issues & even warning on the battery.
"In fact, this laptop is so bad, I am amazed it´s even illegal to sell it!"
Anyway, power want me to pay money & for causing more damage & for the service that blame this on {HP/-The customer}.
Update: I could dodge the payment, since they admit they made a mistake, still does not change the fact, they erased my files & [HP] caused this issue.
By only doing some self-scanning & making it worse…
I blame this on {HP / Power} for selling me defective laptop.
Since by facts are clear about this Laptop: The Omen/HP 15/16 other has chases people had the same issue & the case/chassi has a faulty design is clearly a faulty design that damage customers & issue: These facts are all over the internet & YouTube/Other-sites.
By other computer experts: Issues are huge...
1: Battery issues, it breaks or overheat.
2: Laptop overheats.
3: The MOBO is defect/defective.
4: The chase/chassi has a faulty wrong design, HP know about - in fact & the issues on these laptops, HP know about yes you.
5: The hard drive burn or break, since it has no heatsink nor cooling-paste so it overheat & burn up & breaks {Issue HP also know about!}
6: Other issues have been that HP-Update BIOS on their auto-software that corrupt the files or break the laptop, since it´s the wrong file…
"Some explain this as made on purpose!" /As HP avoid the bullet & ignore the customer.
Or send a spam mail, copy & paste {Here you go do this!}
7: Other issues are the case/chassi is so wrongly made, it burns up.
8: Other issues are Software created by HP, break the pc.
9: Other issue cable problems many computer-experts take up, or that screen turn black.
10: In other words: computer-experts have included & said, HP/Omen sell a defective product & know about it.
"How this is Illegal is insane!"
Meaning, it ruins people’s lives, as they lose their files, right HP?
Power wants to drain me on $Money$ same with their repair company, for false claims & info?
What do I do with this?
And what do I do now!?
Whom do I blame for this? HP for selling defective items? - /Other?
Or Power for selling me defective product?
Or the Repair company, saying the SSD is fine as they erased my files & everything is fine & still not fine & burned & repair it cost me around 80euro/dollar from 200euro/dollar or more, for an issue HP sold me?
Lucky, I could avoid the payment, even if they wanted around 60-dollars for doing honestly more damage.

For a defective Laptops, who’s fault is this? clearly not the owners fault? /It´s not.
Who will take the blame here? /Also, Power/Repair claim in calming false info & just scanned the laptop I already done myself & then break it completely the PC/Laptop is now still today broken, faulty & my files are gone - & that I have no guarantee? {HP still says I have!}

Omen-16 use a M:2card/-NGFF/Nvme/eMMc right an M:2 card. if there is an SSD it´s a back-up drive or tiny space one, if not Omen 16 should not even have an SSD right? And use an M:2-Card.
[Saying M.2:Card or NVMe not SSD, still it does…
If so, on image it´s the tiny drive & other the M:2-card.
Or in other fact: The system program made by [HP] is incorrect.

Since they completely ignored everything, I said.
1: Return it they don´t touch it, the best chooses in my opinion.
2: The cost proposal is approved, repair the product. Price: SEK 850.
“This mean they also erase the drive; I told them not to do!”
3: The cost proposal is declined, back to the customer/owner. Price: SEK 639.
“This is what I got, still they erased the hard drive!”
4: The cost proposal is rejected, scrapped by the workshop. Price: SEK 543. /Simply just scrap it…

And I did not create this issue either, HP´s BIOS did & corrupted the boot-system – Update did that - or that the Omen-16 is a defective product, making me not very happy about this either.

So, please give me a respond to this, please before date 2025-01-16. Update: No respond from HP, got ignored & Power try to blame customer again. “What the F is this corruption & corrupt system!?” That´s the day I go back to Power with a friend & customer, that had their work/videos/what I worked on, on that Laptop I haven´t even used for a year, since I also didn´t use the Laptop until like 3/4months later, since I have other things to do, this Laptop omen 16 haven´t even been running for 1 year & broke itself in that short time. “How is it illegal to sell something like this!?” “That´s not normal or supposed to happen in that short time, the Laptop I write on right now is an ASUS around 8 years old, still working fine as rain!”
So, please HP give me a respond what to do, thank you.

Right Update: Power wants me to pay for doing $nothing$ also for not deleting my files or scraping the laptop, they want me to $pay for that$ also they want me to pay for just looking at the laptop by doing nothing either what I requested in them doing.
New update: Since they claim themselves, they made a mistake & also that I should not pay for something they caused, they let me pass the payment around [60-dollars] still the laptop is broken, not working & they erased the files, that is an insane impact.
Since the files was the most important part, I cannot replace these files ever, nor re-create them.
Understand an impact like this, can ruin a person’s life or even ruin a company.
And their solution is “Ignore customer & just skip a tiny payment!”
They blame this on the customer also, because of the HP BIOS update & laptop.
“This is insane!”
Also, they on that part blame HP.
“So, here I am stuck!”
I cannot re-boot the system without erasing my files & I cannot open up the laptop take up my hard drive without losing my warranty.
And like I said before Power already erased the files, but to reboot the system – it has to be erased again meaning files will take even more damage or become corrupted forever.
If the nutskulls, didn´t completely 01 or other name {Zero erase the hard drive} then I cannot even bring back the files with a recovery-software.
So, a laptop expert will not look into this, in the future to come.
Meaning everything Power has done is just causing me more issues more damage & put that blame on me & HP.
This also include health issues, pressure & blame, I haven´t even done by blame customer on false info.
“This has to also be illegal to do!”
And I will put this fact & blame on HP, as it´s HP´s software & update that caused this issue.
Also, the facts that these Omen laptops are defective.
Now, where this lands & caused me is around the court of law & illegal from of different terms.
In fact, it´s not illegal & against the laws, what both HP is doing & POWER.
In many different EU/USA-chapters.
By fact breaking the law in an illegal action.
This put a pressure on Me HP & Power that refuse to solve the issue breaking the laws.
“Well, without me I am not breaking the law, since I didn´t cause this issue HP/Power did!”
They also indicate I have no warranty, when HP say I have warranty.
So, it´s like two cars here that crash.
If HP still want to ignore me: I will send a letter of complaints, keep this in mind…
This has caused me insane damage to my life, my work & even more damage I soon cannot handle anymore.
In fact, I am getting depressed & this is causing me health issue as this impact does affect my life.
That´s also a fact.
- Stress & moving back & fort to Power, where they nicely tell me to f myself.
“This creates health damage!”
- Create depression & damage to my work & life.
- Create damage to my name, my streaming & pissing of my customers – again impact of damage caused by both HP&POWER.
- Creating damage in my life, almost like destroying a fragment of my life & dreams & soul.
- Create $cost I have to pay$ that was caused by a defective Laptop or software created by HP that Power point at the customer to be the issue & problem.
- Cause sleep problems, health problems, eating problems & other health issues.
- Damage again videos, files, photos, edit videos, my books E.T.C…
- Also put extra work on me, strain & also include months with work to provide evidence, create & edit a video & send facts to all platforms.
“This again cause health issues & damage!” also a big impact for lose in money, for me.
As power latterly F me behind a desk.
So, my question is simple, what do I do now?
HP don´t want to solve this problem & Power blame this on me & HP & HP ignores me?
I have…
1: Recorded it all.
2: Saved all photos files text around Power & HP.
3: Created chit chat videos about it…
“Doing an edit now with evidence with around 10 videos!” First video will be around 40min.
4: Created & done my search.
5: Contacted a lawyer my father-in-law know, that own companies worldwide.
And lastly 6: Try to solve this in a nice & simple manner in a good way, seems to be not possible, if the companies ignore me.
As Power denies any real solution, more than sucking me dry on $Give us this *Money*!$ for causing the issues, as we on HP created these fact of issues also, that also ignore customer.
Instead of the other way around.
So, my question is?
What do I do with this HP?
I cannot re-boot my laptop, but then I lose my files.
Update: “Already lost my files, thanks to POWER!”
“Still erase them again, will cause more damage, thanks to the liars on the company Power!”
I may not open up the laptop removing the drive to back up my files, then I lose my warranty completely.
And even if I did, again Power erased the hard drive or Repair by Recliamit that try to blame customer for it, as I did record before I returned it to Power, that the drive still has in the system [Windows] the files are still there.
“Got the laptop back, Windows gone!”
As they try to blame it on me, this is in fact “Sick insane & very corrupt to do to a customer!” & then also lie about it.
Since I have the evidence prove this is a lie.
And power just simple now today, told me to F myself?
“Is this really the solution & the facts you want me to upload on YouTube!?”
If so, I will put all this evidence videos info on display.
“Trust me, I dealt with corrupted companies before, I am a streamer critic for a reason!”

I rather not, since it again put work on my shoulder & it also does not solve mine or your issues & problems here…

Right, been back & fort driving & recording the travel to Power.
Now there are a few new issues here…
They said "This is a pickle!" an issue, as they cannot remove the M.2-Card or fix the issue.
At least I did not have to pay 60 dollars for their service by doing {Nothing] still this does not fix or solve my issue.
“As they also without telling me, erased the hard drive & blame it on me the customer!”
So, yes this becomes a big pickle now…
Computer is still not working & the hard drive cannot be found or in other word rebooted.
Without causing more issues.
Probably is that it´s probably brunt or dead or maybe corrupted, I cannot re-boot it either or erase it...
Because losing or damage the files even more, will cause issues with the recovery I now have to solve myself.

Since the hard drive M.2-Card cannot be found, in the re-boot system either anymore, thanks to POWER.
They caused more issues, that I can even explain…
Again, they say "This is a pickle!" as they also say I have no warranty, when you guys said I do.
In fact: HP said I had warranty, that´s sadly now gone, since you both pushed up the time for it to pass over…

As the laptop broke in less than a year, that´s how old this defective laptop is, defective broken & cannot back up my files either.
I am reacting my limit…
By court of law, this is also in fact illegal & since it´s the {BIOS} that corrupted the laptop erased also the files by another company´s idiotic & made the hard drive vanish or not able to boot at all or not even be found in the system.
That had windows on it, is now blank & gone.
I can say this myself “Yes, this is a pickle indeed!”
Where they want me to 1: Open up the laptop & remove the hard drive myself *Maybe I can back-up the files up, if I am luck, maybe!* I do lose my Warranty completely then, enough.
Or Option 2: Hope I can solve a recovery solution & reboot the system, by erasing everything losing my files & then buy or barrow a recovery software, hope the files isn´t to damage or corrupted.

In my opinion, these are not really any good options, as it´s [HP] that sold me an Omen-16 that could not even last for 1-year…
Not sure why Power have not contacted you guys, nor understand that this is an insanely bad problem & issue.

"Honestly I am not sure how to solve this!" But I really want a new laptop & honestly my money back, even if this is solved, it´s not even close enough, with all the damage this has caused & created me.
In fact, if this happens in American a person would simply sued HP for probably around 10mil sek…
People I worked for waiting for their files, with the work I been working on by editing videos & other, they are insanely angry at {HP} at the moment & also Power, they are talking about pressing this on & that´s not good for either me or you.

Anyway, this sucks & aren´t fun to deal with at all.
This is the newest Update of info: I can give you guys in fact; this is really not looking good for HP at all at the moment.
As a bunch of people now also want to join in on this & send their complaints.
So, any replay or solution for this, would be really appreciate before they simply push this forward or send this letter with the laws & complaint.
Would be highly recommended, because I will also have to send one either.
Anyway, cannot solve this issue either can [Power] or the tech company, they wanted to scrap the laptop – solution isn´t happening either, I still need my files.
Before they slide down a snow hill, with the laptop sitting on it.
That mean 1: I lose my files.
2: You get pissed of customers & that´s bad.
3: I have to scrap a laptop that isn´t even 1 year old, that´s not a solution…
4: I lose 1 year’s work & 5: I lost my books & other things other big companies won´t be happy about.
Meaning they will put this blame on {HP} not me…
That´s all the new info I can share for now.
