My laptop is working only when charger plugged in. When I switch off charging or remove the charger immediately it is shutting down

Let me check your current system configuration.

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

(2Download and install BIOS Update

(4Let BIOS be installed until it's completely done !

Please < calibrate > your battery ...

 

(1) Open windows <device manager> and uninstall "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery

- Right click on "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery"

- Click "Uninstall device"

- Confirm your choice if you see a popup notification

(2Shutdown notebook

(3) Disconnect charger

(4) Press and hold <power> button for 30 seconds

(5) Connect charger and wait until battery is fully charged ( check LED indicator )

(6) Start notebook and log in to windows and wait a few minutes

(7) Reboot notebook

(8) Please report your results

 I am getting this error while installing one of the update. "HP Consumer Desktop / Notebook PC ME Firmware Update".I tested the battery still it's not working

I tried calibrating the battery. I pressed the power button upto 30 to 45 sec. Then I connected the charger. Already LED indicator showing that charging was full. So I restarted and tested even then it was not working without charger.

While restarting I am also getting CMOS Reset 502 error sometimes.
