This afternoon, I had my laptop running whilst I was away for like half an hour, but when I returned, my laptop was shut off and didn't want to start back up again.
I've concluded some possible issues myself, like:
- The charging light doesn't turn on again and, but the charger does give it's required ~19,4v.
- I've unplugged the internal battery and the powercord and held the powerbutton for +1 minute like several solution suggest, but this didn't fix my issues either.
- Using a multimeter, I've found there are no broken/disconnected (ribbon) cables and there is a voltage across the board.
I'm kind of out of possible fixes, if you ask me. Does anyone have another suggestion to fix this?

Hi @WetLeftSock,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are having issues with your unit powering up.
I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
This looks like a hardware issue.
If the computer does not turn on
If there is no noise from the computer case or fans, the lights on the computer do not turn on (including the keyboard lights), and the screen does not receive a video signal, your computer might not be receiving power.
In this case, I recommend you contact phone support.
For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
