OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L4AV)

Please help!

My laptop was working fine one lunch time, turned off and put away, went to use it and wouldn’t power on, just the power button LED would flash once and off.
I have taken the battery off and ran it without using just the charger and this worked once, I then put the battery back on and it also worked. But then immediately after it has now gone back to the light just flashing and not booting up, regardless if the battery is in or not.
Any ideas?

That sounds like the classic symptoms of a battery that has reached the end of its service life.

Replace it with a new compatible battery

Thanks for the reply, are there any suggestions where to actually buy one from that is a reliable store. Spent £60 on one website where it still has not arrived! Shame HP don’t sell them direct?

If you purchase a battery on Amazon.co.uk you will have recourse and refund of your ££ if the seller does not deliver.

Use only the HP part number to ensure that you are ordering the right part.

eBay has also become a website that holds vendors feet to the fire if they do not deliver.
