I forgotten bios password.

After boot i got "administrator or power on password", after 3 tries it shows me only system S/N and "insert hp sparekey recovery usb key".

Last time i forgotten bios password, flashing new helped. Now it's not working (WIN+B), it reads files probably from SSD (plugged in this small "pcie" look port), i tried also unplugging HDD's and flash new from USB. Nothing happens.

I heard about HP's support generating file to be placed on bios recovery usb, and then it removes password.

I already called HP, they told me nothing. Just cost of a new motherboard.

What Can i do in this situation. It's christmas right now, i dont have time to wait for delivery if it comes to order this recovery disk. Maybe Can i pay and they can send me all files from it via email or something?

Or just file to flash with bios to remove password?

Please help! I can't function normally without mine's notebook

the bios is on the drivers page. I believe you could make usb using that bios .exe from another computer.

Other wise if its a password you have used alot you could try closing your eyes and letting your muscles do the work. Some people forget their pass words and they blind fold themselves and are able to do it from muscle memory. If its not something you have typed alot you wont be able to do it. But i know that the bios is on the drivers page and it gives the option to make a usb recovery when you run it. You could try running it from another computer.

I have also heard of others using tools like rufus to make bootable drives with the files they need but that is way more complex and might not work in your situation.

i probably wont remind it. I did using .exe file and tried it like 10 times, last time it helped and removed password but now nothing. Well. Probably i have to buy this usb key....
