My MUTE speaker button does not mute speakers on laptop when. an external monitor is attached through the HDMI port. I do alot of ZOOM meeting calls and run two laptops next to each other. It wreaks havoc on the sound because of the echo. Zoom microphone is muted on the HP as well, yet echo sound still comes through the speakers. When no monitor is attached, everything works fine. No echo when MUTE speaker button is activated.
