@lzx,
Welcome to our HP Community forum!
The HP Pavilion 14-dv0070TX does not include a hardware MUX switch.
This model uses Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics along with an Nvidia GeForce MX450 discrete GPU. It relies on Nvidia Optimus to automatically switch between the two graphics processors depending on workload.
A MUX switch -found mainly on gaming-oriented laptops -allows the display output to be routed directly from the discrete GPU for maximum gaming performance. However, HP's Pavilion 14 series is designed as a thin-and-light consumer laptop, and HP provides no documentation or BIOS setting indicating a MUX switch option.
In short:
- No hardware MUX switch present
- Automatic GPU switching via Nvidia Optimus
- Performance will still pass through the integrated GPU, as expected for this category
If you need full dGPU output control for gaming or external monitor use, you'd need to consider HP OMEN or Victus models, which support such features.
Kind Regards,
