Hey,

I am looking for help to identify the maximum support / limit for SSD Gen4 storage and DDR5. Currently I have 512GB SSD storage and 16GB DDR5 5600Mhz. What is the maximum support this laptop can handle (Victus 16 S1084AX)? I am planning to upgrade my RAM and storage and I am unfamiliar with the maximum limit.

Some post said up to 4TB of storage and 64GB of RAM, some also said up to 1TB / 2TB of storage and 32GB of RAM.

Thank you

Hey:

HP only has the service manual for the original 16-s0xxx model series.

Maintenance and Service Guide Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PCModel numbers: 16-s0xxx

According to chapter 1 of the manual the notebooks in the older model series can support up to 2 x 32 GB of memory.

HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in storage capacity, but that is just what they offered, not the maximum capacity supported.

The Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates it will support 64 GB of memory and NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB.

The service manual and the Crucial memory report indicate that there is support for two NVMe SSD's but that information is not correct.  There is only one SSD slot in the notebook.

The service teardown video only shows one slot.
