Hi @shivam120107 ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
A decrease in the full charge capacity of your laptop battery over time is a normal and expected occurrence. This is part of the natural aging process of lithium-ion batteries, which are commonly used in laptops. Factors such as the number of charge cycles, temperature, and overall usage can contribute to the gradual decline in battery capacity.
Here are a few tips and things to consider:
Normal Degradation: A slight decrease in battery capacity over a month is generally normal. Batteries naturally lose some capacity with each charging cycle.
Power Management Settings: Check your power management settings in Windows 11. Sometimes, certain settings may impact the battery's performance.
Charging Habits: Avoid consistently draining your battery to very low levels. Lithium-ion batteries tend to perform better when they are not regularly discharged completely.
Temperature: Extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, can affect battery performance. Try to keep your laptop in a cool, dry environment.
Update Drivers: Make sure your laptop's firmware and drivers are up to date from the HP Website, may release updates to improve battery performance.
Calibration: Sometimes, the battery management system may need recalibration. You can try fully charging your laptop, then letting it discharge until it shuts down. Afterward, charge it back to full capacity. This process may help the system recalibrate and provide a more accurate reading of the battery's capacity.
Software and Settings: Check for any power-hungry applications or settings that might be affecting your battery life. Adjusting power settings and closing unnecessary background processes can help improve overall battery performance.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
