HP OMEN wf-1025tx

I had the worst experience with HP.com (India) while purchasing the HP Omen WF-1025TX, and I need to vent about it.

Here’s the rundown:

  1. Delivery took 40 days: I bought the laptop during a festive offer, and I was expecting it to arrive in a reasonable time frame. Instead, it took a massive 40 days to get here. That’s right, 40 days.

  2. Screen bleeding and overheating: When the laptop finally arrived, I noticed screen bleeding immediately. It looked like the panel was damaged or malfunctioning. Plus, the laptop started reaching temperatures of 106°C, which is dangerously high.

  3. Technician declared it DOA: After raising a complaint, it took 5 days for a technician to come. They confirmed the laptop was dead on arrival (DOA) – a huge disappointment after waiting for over a month.

  4. The nightmare continues: The laptop was picked up on 29/11, and I have received zero updates from HP since then. All they gave me was a docket number. I had to reach out to them, only to be told that the unit is out of stock. Now, I’m being told I can either opt for a refund or pay extra for a higher model.

  5. Buyback and no backup: As part of the offer, I gave them my old laptop for a buyback after the new one was delivered. So, now I’m left with no working laptop at all, and I’m furious.

  6. Zero responses: I’ve emailed the DOA team multiple times with no response. I’ve been left in the dark with no resolution in sight.

I’m really frustrated. I bought the HP Omen during the festive offer with an extended 2-year warranty and some add-ons, and now I’m stuck without a laptop and no one seems to care. At this point, I don’t even know if I’ll get a replacement, refund, or anything at all. I am never recommending hp to anyone, worst service, this time i got really frustrated, I am left with nothing to work.
