Hi, in my omen 15 the audio jack is not working showing no device is connected in audio jack. I have tried reinstalling drivers but didn't helped and uefi is also not recognising that earphone is connected. Pls help.

Let me check your current system configuration before we take care about the audio jack ...

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

 

(2) Start Windows <Device Manager>

- Expand <Sound, video and game controllers>

--->>> Send screenshot

(1) Create Windows system <restore point>

(2) Download and install BIOS Update

Why should you install the update ?

(3) Reboot

(4) Let BIOS be installed until it's completely done !

(5) Download and install / update

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI

8.2.0.0 Rev.A56.1 MBJun 30, 2021Download

 

(6) Reboot Windows

(7) Test your notebook and audio (jack) again ...

(8) Please report your results

Kindly pls check and tell that the bios link that you have given is for my model omen 15-en0001ax. As in hp support assistant no bios update is showing and its enabled in hsa settings.

This is official HP BIOS Update for your model, check:

HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors) OMEN Laptop - 15-en0001ax

The bios itself is operating system independent. The setup routine that prepares the update is operating system dependent. The Windows version (10) is the minimum version in your case. You can install the bios setup using Windows 11 without problems.
