@EMan434, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your built-in camera on the Victus Gaming Laptop has been deleted or is no longer working, here are a few steps you can try to restore it:
Check Device Manager
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Cameras or Imaging Devices section.
- If you see your camera listed:
- Right-click and choose Enable device (if it's disabled).
- Or choose Update driver > Search automatically.
If the camera is not listed, proceed to the next step.
Scan for Hardware Changes
- In Device Manager, click on Action > Scan for hardware changes.
- This may detect and reinstall the camera if it was accidentally removed.
Install HP Drivers
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Enter your Victus model number (e.g., "Victus 16-e0000").
- Go to the Drivers & Software section.
- Download and install the Camera Driver or HP Webcam Driver if available.
Use HP Support Assistant
- Open HP Support Assistant (pre-installed on most HP laptops). If not, download it here - HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
- Go to My Devices > Select your laptop.
- Click Troubleshooting and Fixes > Camera.
- Follow the guided steps to detect and fix camera issues.
BIOS Check
Sometimes the camera can be disabled in BIOS:
- Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
- Look for Built-in Device Options or similar.
- Ensure the Integrated Camera is enabled.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
