OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0018tx
Microsoft Windows 11

So a few months back I got my laptop checked up at a store because it was overheating and I got to know that one of my cooling fans broke and he removed the fan and then I he said that it'll take a week to order and receive a replacement for it and by then I totally forgot about it and right when I again started to see my laptop overheating now I don't know what to do, the offical store of HP in my area is charging almost double than the person who removed the fan, now my pc is lagging and now it has crashed because my C disk is full and wheneve I tried to access "This PC" it showed me not responding and I had to restart my pc to able to access anything else. Now whenever I open my laptop this shows up and I have tried everything to resolve this issue but nothing works.

@Erenyeager1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It looks like your OMEN laptop is stuck in the "Automatic Repair" loop due to multiple issues:

  1. Overheating due to a missing cooling fan – This can cause thermal throttling and potential damage to internal components.
  2. C: drive full – This can lead to severe performance issues, crashes, and even prevent Windows from booting properly.
  3. System lagging and now failing to boot – Likely caused by the combination of overheating, low storage, and possible file corruption.

Try these steps:

Try Booting into Safe Mode

  1. On the "Automatic Repair" screen, click Advanced options.
  2. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  3. When your PC restarts, press 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
  4. Once in Safe Mode, try deleting unnecessary files from your C: drive (large downloads, temporary files, etc.).

Free Up Disk Space (If You Can Boot into Safe Mode)

  • Go to This PC, right-click on C: drive, select Properties > Disk Cleanup.
  • Delete unnecessary system files, including temporary files.
  • Empty Recycle Bin.

Uninstall Unnecessary Programs

  • Open Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  • Remove software you don’t need.

If Everything Fails – Backup and Reset

If your PC still doesn’t boot, you might need to reset Windows:

  1. Go to Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.
  2. Choose Keep my files or Remove everything (backup your data first if possible).

I hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
