Had CMOS error since I bought new from HP last November. Finally had the motherboard replaced around June/July and CMOS error still occured. Opened multiple cases for this. Over a month ago I was told I could escalate it, so I escalated the issue to a case manager to see about a replacement because the issue should have been resolved with a motherboard replacement and it wasn't. The case manager tried calling me but the number kept getting blocked by spam filter, he left a voicemail but no way to contact him said he'd send an email.... He never sent an email. I added the number to my contacts, and he called but I wasn't able to answer, left a voicemail, saying he would leave an email. Finally, he sent an email, it was blank but I replied anyways. Took him a WEEK to respond, how is this time frame ok? The final time  I called support 11/24 and they couldn't transfer me for some reason and told me he would call in a few minutes. He never called.

You think if you spend 1500$ on a laptop you wouldn't have issues right from the start and if you do they would want to make it right asap. I'm sick of being dicked around and need to know who I can contact to get this made right because this guy sure isn't doing his job correctly. Is there a different number I can call? The premium support guy said there was nothing he could with getting a supervisor involved or anything because it's not their department etc.

Now the CMOS issue... It starts off with any external connections disabled. Any usb/bluetooth devices stop working. If I'm using a USB mic I can tell when it's going to happen, I can still hear people, but no one can hear me. Then everything stops after a few minutes. It's very intermittent, sometimes it's once a week, other times it can happen couple times a week. Two weeks ago, had it happen 3 days in a row, once during an interview. I'm a software engineer, how does that make me look when my computer crashes! Support updated the bios, drivers etc. I mean it was already updated but they redid it. It didn't matter at all, just the hoops they made me jump through, again. I don't know what's wrong with the **bleep** computer, but to me it's a lemon and needs to be replaced.

Thanks.
