Hello @riika7810, and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

We are sorry to hear that the High Performance power plan and Performance Mode in OMEN Gaming Hub may not appear by default on certain HP Victus models. Here's how you can restore or enable these features:

Step 1: Restore the High Performance Power Plan in Windows

Sometimes Windows hides the High Performance plan. You can restore it manually:

Open Command Prompt as Administrator:

  • Press Windows + X → select Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows Terminal (Admin).

Run this command:

This will restore the High Performance plan.

Go to Power Options:

  • Press Windows + R, type powercfg.cpl, and hit Enter.
  • You should now see High Performance listed. Select it.

Step 2: Enable Performance Mode in OMEN Gaming Hub

HP Victus laptops use OMEN Gaming Hub to manage performance profiles. However, Performance Mode is only available on select configurations.

Check if your model supports it:

  • According to HP, Performance Mode is available on Victus models like Victus 15L TG02-0xxx and Victus by HP 16 Laptop PC (16-d0xxx, 16-e0xxx).
  • If your Victus 15-fa2716TX has a lower-end GPU (e.g., GTX 1650/1650Ti), Performance Mode may not be available by design.

Update OMEN Gaming Hub and BIOS:

  1. Open HP Support Assistant and check for updates.
  2. Ensure OMEN Gaming Hub is updated to version 6.2.3.0 or later.
  3. Update your BIOS to F.06 or later if available.

Optional: Create a Custom Power Plan

If Performance Mode is unavailable, you can create a custom power plan with aggressive settings:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Power Options.
  2. Click Create a power plan.
  3. Base it on High Performance, name it (e.g., "Gaming Mode"), and tweak advanced settings like:
    • Processor power management → Minimum and Maximum processor state → Set to 100%
    • Disable sleep and hibernation during gaming

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
