OMEN by HP 15-dc1000nx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After updating the sound driver from support.hp (6.0.8950.1 Rev.D) my sound is all gone, I tried multiple drivers from the same site (6.0.1.8622 Rev.B, 6.0.8716.1 Rev.C, 6.0.8717.1 Rev.D) though did not solve the issue.

@Ghodin

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the audio on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you download and install the audio driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Setup uninstalled previous driver, then tried to install the new one, but "The setup couldn't install the driver installation" as seen in screenshot above.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  1. Go to “Device Manager”, -> “System Device”, find the “Intel ® Smart Sound Technology (Intel (R) SST) Audio Controller”, check the “Driver”, and click “update driver” to make it update to latest version
  2. Go to “Device Manager”, ->”System Device”, find the Intel ® Smart Sound Technology (Intel (R) SST) OED, check the “Driver”, and click “update driver” to make it update to latest version.

And these 2 devices update to latest driver, please check and make sure they are same driver version.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
